Byron Shire
Employment Lands Study
Byron Shire Council engaged HillPDA to undertake an employment land strategy to review all retail and industrial precincts within the LGA.
The study involved undertaking an extensive land use audit, projecting retail and industrial floorspace requirements and determining the capacity of existing business centres and employment precincts. The final strategy provided clear actions and recommendations for the employment precincts and business centres including:
- Key industry marketing opportunities
- Employment forecasts
- Placemaking priority strategies
- Masterplanning recommendations
- Future urban expansion opportunities
- Recommendations for planning controls and council policies.
Our value add
