Jesse Rowlings

Jesse is a consultant in HillPDA’s strategic planning team. He assists in undertaking social impact assessments, strategy writing and research. He specialises in public policy and infrastructure with his previous roles as Assistant Water Planner at the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and Policy Officer at the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. His work has involved project management, research, and analysis for the rewriting of environmental management legislation, coordinating and assisting with ministerial briefings, project and milestone assessments, research and internal reporting and risk management tasks. Additionally, Jesse has capabilities in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and heritage, and research and analysis.

Prior to working at HillPDA, Jesse’s work for NSW DPIE in the inland water planning team focused on managing social, economic, and environmental uses of water. Jesse previously worked for the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, completing research and analysis projects, stakeholder engagement, and policy development for the Murray‑Darling Basin region.
