Meet the Team
Jesse Rowlings
Jesse is a Consultant is in HillPDA’s strategic planning team. He specialises in social impact assessments, strategy writing and research, stakeholder engagement, and demographic and GIS analysis. Jesse has a background in public policy and infrastructure from his time working in government. His academic background includes studies in planning, social sciences and psychology, and government. Jesse is interested in planning that focuses on positive outcomes for people and places, and he utilises an interdisciplinary approach to achieve these goals. Having lived and worked in regional and rural areas of NSW, Jesse also has a keen interest in regional planning matters.
Prior to working at HillPDA, Jesse worked in agriculture and water management within state and federal government. Jesse’s work with the NSW State Government focused on managing social, economic, and environmental uses of water; whilst his work with the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, involved research and analysis projects, stakeholder engagement, and policy development for the Murray‑Darling Basin region.
