Tom Polden
Consultant - Strategic Planning

Tom is a consultant in HillPDA’s planning team. He specialises in both strategic and social planning, with a particular knowledge of socio-economic trends and how they shape urban areas. Tom has an interest in long-term planning strategies that guide land uses in cities and regions. He also possesses experience in social planning, having conducted a range of impact assessments and socio-economic analyses.
Tom has worked with a range of clients from public, private, and non-for-profit sectors at local and state levels. He applies his cutting-edge understandings of urban planning and political economy to his work, providing insights into how economic and social trends influence, and are influenced by, urban development.
