Hill PDA has extensive experience with leading and participating in stakeholder and community consultation. Hill PDA staff have led on, co-ordinated and presented at events and seminars ranging from community workshops and focus groups for commercial and retail strategies, through to large scale projects such as the London Olympics and their legacy.

Hill PDA's experience in stakeholder consultation includes the following projects:

BOAT OWNERSHIP & STORAGE STUDY

Hill PDA undertook a study of boat storage and ownership across NSW. The study was commissioned by NSW Maritime and reviewed existing and predicted boat storage patterns and demand.

 


CBD METRO

Hill PDA's assessment focused on the likely social and economic impacts of the proposed CBD Metro during both the construction and operational phases. For all impacts identified, Hill PDA sought to quantify the degree of significance and appropriate mechanisms for mitigation. The assessment involved consultation with key stakeholders in the study area, such as government agencies, private businesses, community groups and landowners.

 


HOLROYD RETAIL STRATEGY

Hill PDA prepared a Retail Strategy for Holroyd LGA which aimed to provide Council with a tool for the appropriate management of the changing patterns of retail and commercial development.

 


BOARDING HOUSE RESEARCH PROJECT

Hill PDA investigated the ways and means of encouraging the retention of boarding and lodging houses and the expansion of this sector as an affordable housing option.
